14 Day Pass
An exciting new program for school aged students. Teen Fit is designed to encourage young people to learn and do regular exercise as part of their lifestyle.
It is a health club based program where the participants come after school and participate in a group-based program with other students. The program runs over a 10-week period and there are 2 sessions per week. The first session is indoors and involves a circuit or aerobic class in the Group Fitness room. The second session is outdoors and consists of circuits and ball skills and sports.
The lessons are conducted by registered Fitness Leaders and the program is exclusive to New Dimensions Health Club.
Why Teen Fit ?
A lot of media attention has been focused recently on the obesity epidemic both globally and in Australia. There have been a lot of factors that contribute to this and one of the most important is that too many people do not lead an active enough lifestyle.
New Dimensions Health Club staff have developed this program to make a contribution to the community and at the same time teach teenagers how to make exercise a part of their lifestyle.
You don’t have to be good at sport!!! You don’t even have to be fit!!! You just need to be willing to have a go and make fitness a part of your lifestyle.
Who can participate ?
The program is aimed at children up to the age of 14 who are looking at an alternative to organized competitive sports. A maximum of 25 students can sign up per class. All you need is a permission slip from a parent or guardian.
Teen Fit Program Dates
Current program times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 5pm.
