Week 1 Of Kickstart Program
You and your trainer will discuss what you wish to achieve here at New Dimensions, which will enable your trainer to write you an exercise program designed specifically for you. They will also do a fitness assessment with you in order to see where you are starting at, so we have something to measure your progress against. This includes simple things such as taking your weight, measurements, and a 10-minute bike ride.
Members under going a fitness appraisal must:
§ Bring a Towel and Water bottle
§ Wear appropriate clothing: Enclosed footwear (no thongs, sandals), T-Shirt or singlet, Tracksuit pants/shorts. No Jeans or cargo pants
§ Not: - Consume any caffeine or smoke 2 hours before their appointment.
- Participate in any strenuous physical activity, 2 hours prior to their fitness assessment. (including riding a bike to the gym)
During the first week you are asked to participate in two group exercise classes. This allows you to get a feel for different options available to you here at New Dimensions, whilst in the company of a qualified instructor.
